Rose Mountain Farm is an organic farm located in the mountains of Ashe County.  On our 29-acres we have a fresh mountain spring, a trout creek, a few barns, tall trees, open-air terrain, and lots of animals!  The farm is run by Ann Rose.  We raise chickens, turkeys, goats, pigs, horses, and vegetables, and we produce, jams, jellies, apple cider vinegar, apple butter and other canned goods.  Our products will remain organic, sustainable, and natural, with or without the USDA Organic seal. We will attend the Ashe County Farmer's Market and Lansing Market in season.   The farm store on premises is open 8 Am - Noon on Thursdays only.  Our online store is open 24/7.  We know you'll be a satisfied customer no matter where you find us!

A Word from the Owner:

We are a family-owned and -operated farm, and we have worked the land here for 12 years.  We are healthy and active, and can give the credit  for our health to God and the availability of farm-fresh food on our table year-round. Obtaining a healthy mind and body begins with a good diet of non-processed foods, free of chemicals and pesticides. We Annhave been able to modify our dietary intake by farming, while cutting our expenses at commercial grocery stores to a bare minimum. I could not have raised three daughters alone had I not been farming. With the new threats in our society today, the food here is thousands of miles fresher. I know where it comes from, how it got here, and who handled it. I feel privileged to be able to offer this quality to you. I can only hope and pray that you are as blessed with good health and good food as we are.   My passions include local food, community agriculture, off-grid living, and harnessing nature for a better future.  If you'd like to chat about practical living, contact me.

Sincerely,

Ann Rose.                                                         Thousands of miles fresher!
